Planning your treatnent and trip budget

  • Consider your travel and treatment preferences 2 Star travel vs. 5 star (hotel, hospital, extra attention, individual suites, shared room)

  • Passport and visas: some countries require and some do not. Average cost per visa is $120 and recommended to apply for it 30 days in advance.

  • Passport issuance: it is recommended that you renew or apply for a passport 60 months in advance. Cost is $60 to 200

  • Always keep your budget current and updated as your travel and treatment plans change

  • Make sure you account for your companion if any

  • Countries entry and exist fees usually around 30 to 50 dollars and most countries don’t accept check or credit card. Either dollar, euro or marks

  • Lodging during treatment: hotel, meals, etc...

  • Post treatment lodging

  • Leisure travel if your budget and time allows.

  • Remember to save all your receipts and trip costs and check irs.gov because those costs could be tax deductible according to your total trip cost and your income bracket.
